We started the night off going to our church Family Fall Festival.
Here we are...is something missing??!?!? Um, yes, my costume!!! :-) I had mine in the car and I tried calling hubby several times to see if he was going to for sure wear his, so since I couldn't get him (and I really never had a chance to put it on), I didn't wear mine. Jason wasn't too thrilled that I didn't have mine on...sorry honey, but you & Carter looked great!!!!
Check out the Red Power Ranger!! His hat is really cool...it can light up across the top...basically like chaser lights.

Papaw and Mamaw got to join us.

Carter had so much fun playing all the games.

And there were two things new this year: Pony rides and a small maze!! Carter ran himself silly in that maze (and he wasn't the only one). He'd even cheat a couple of times and climb over the hay.

He even rode the train too!!

Other things that he really enjoyed doing was jumping in all 3 jumpers...yes, I said all 3, he couldn't leave one out ya know!!!! We even made it to a few minutes of the puppet show. There was so much for him to do that we didn't really get a chance to do it all. There were tons of people there. Even in that huge crowd we did manage to run into Elizabeth, her dad, and the kids...it was so good to see them!! Carter and Seth got to jump together!!!
Last but not least, since the church event ended at 7:30, I called my good friend Ruby to see where they were, and we met up with them in order for Carter to officially do his first door to door trick or treating. This was the first house he went too! It was a good friend/co-worker of Ruby's and actually someone I grew up with...we call her "Smiller" aka Stephanie...well, actually she was working for Ruby this night so Ruby could take her kids out trick or treating so good oh hubby was answering the door!!

It didn't take Carter long at all to get the hang of it. Soon he new to run to the next house that had lights on and say trick or treat. Actually, he was running and still saying it WAY before he got to the door, so we all had a good laugh.
All in all it was a great halloween!! I hope yours was enjoyable as well!!
