Well, I'm sure you are all wondering how the job interview went last Thursday and probably feel you've wanted long enough right?? Well, not much to say other than I practiced a lot on Wednesday night, Thursday morning, and again at lunch before going to the interview. I was all ready but good news is that I didn't have to use any of my skills to win them over...she told me all about the position and I said a few things and that was it. =) She did say that she would probably be calling me back again. The only two things that concern me is that it doesn't sound like the salary will be what I'd like (but at this point I may have to take what I can get) and the girl whose currently in this position is retiring and she's great at what she does...sometimes this can be hard to fill someone else's shoes...know what I mean. But we'll see, so I'm just waiting for that call back. The company does have some great benefits so this would make up for some of the possible salary loss, so we will wait and see.
However, I did pick my car up from the shop last Wednesday as well and after talking to a guy from Church, he's put a good word in for me with his friend whose up high at AutoZone. I told him the wierd thing is that I have applied for two positions there a little over a week ago, so he heard back from his friend, who told him that she would get my name into the right hands, so you never know...God works in all kinds of ways...Accident=Job....you never know! =)
I also heard from the Robert Half guy today and he is submitting my resume to a place for me.
Then I just got done applying for 3 or so jobs online.
That's where I'm at with the job hunting...getting some bites!! It's a start!! I'll keep you posted. Thank you so much for your prayers!!

We did some Christmas Shopping over the weekend and even got what we bought, wrapped and under the tree (thanks Jason!!). We even had time for Carter to see Santa and let him tell him what he wants for Christmas (which of course was EVERYTHING!!) =) He did so good but of course when we got in line and was getting closer, he told us "mommy and daddy I was just kidding lets go do some more shopping"...oh no baby we've done waited in line you are going to go see Santa (altough I think this was the quickest line we'd seen in the 4 years of going to see him...it was only about 20 minutes or so, ususally we wait a good hour or so). Carter has finally asked his first Santa questions this..."How does Santa get in?"
Jason and I have also made sure that Carter knows the true meaning of Christmas and so if you ask him he'll say "it's Jesus' Birthday".
We attended our first Christmas party on Saturday night at my cousin Elizabeth's house...it was a wonderful evening. I've got my Christmas cards ordered and in hand, now I've just got to address them...so hold on, you may actually get them a few weeks before Christmas this year, but don't hold your breath! =)
We went to the Brighton parade tonight...Carter got into picking up the candy thrown at him. There was even a CAMEL in the parade!!! We actually know the Camel...he lives down the street from my parents house. Here's a few pictures from our fun evening tonight...
Santa is bringing up the rear on the firetruck. It was a little nippy but it was a fun evening!!
We have a ton of Christmas celebrations coming up this weekend, so we'll be busy!! Enjoy your festivities as well!!
