Happy Birthday Mom

Today is my Mother-in-Law Joyce's birthday. She is a WONDERFUL MOM!! She has been through a lot in the past few years. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December 2005. She immediately went to surgury, next came 6 chemo treatments and then 6 STRAIGHT weeks worth of radiation. She is one STRONG lady and an EXCELLENT FIGHTER!! We love her so much!! And boy does she do her part in spoiling our boy rotten!!!!!! :-)


We took her tonight to the new mexican restaurant in town...Las Margaritas. My friend was there with her family because it was her daughter's birthday too. So they shared her cake with us. Yummy!!!


And Carter says "there's no wrong way to eat the icing"; however, did any make it into his mouth??!!? He had so much fun squishing it between his fingers, next patting his face, and then licking his fingers...he had a ball!!!!! :-) So far that's the only part of the cake he will eat...the icing...and who could blame him!!!!
