30 Rocks

Jason and I had such a GREAT time at Dixie's 30th Halloween BOOthday Party. It was a hoot to see what people picked for their costumes. Can you guess what we went as?!?!? Well, if many of you know my husband, then you know it wasn't just something 'cheesy', it had to be well thought of...so, Jason was Mark Antony as Roman General and I went as Athena, a Roman Goddess. We are a lovely couple, right?!?!?!

Here's the birthday girl, Dixie and her husband, Todd....aka, pirates!

Todd and Jason graduated high school together. Therefore, we met Dixie through Todd. We've known Dixie since they started dating and even went to their wedding up in Gatlinburg. They have a handsome 1 year old little boy, Zachary. We just went to his party a few weeks back. They are such wonderful friends to us!!

This next picture is Dixie with her sister, Mimi and niece, Magnolia.

Last but not least is this strange character!! This was actually someone else we known through Todd and Dixie over the years...his name is Kurt (or Kirk).

So there you have it people...now you've seen what we went as and got to see some of the other costumes at the party too!! Other costumes were a couple as vampires, a twisted sister, a puppet on strings, pimp daddies, lady bug, bee, nurse & patient couple, hippies, bear belly cops, and bikers. Let me just say that I couldn't include all of the pictures b/c then I would no longer have a rated 'G' blog. :-)

This was our first time to dress up for Halloween in our 8 years of marriage/10 years together!! We had such a blast doing it that we recommend all adults give it a try if you haven't!! :-)
