Lots of Weekend Fun!!!!

A FULL but FUN weekend!!!!

First off, we started off the weekend going to Carter's field trip on Friday. It was at Uncle Fudd's Farm. Carter was blessed to have Aunt Kathy, Mamaw, Papaw, Daddy, and I join him. They treated the kids to 2 games. The girls and boys raced passing a pumpkin down the line. When it got to the end of the line, two dad's raced to the finish line and then got to spike the pumpkin...the girls won this one. The kids then got to see the inside of the pumpkin and pass the pieces around. The next game was tug-o-war, which the boys won. My child unfortunately was being a "girl" and didn't want to get dirty and play either game, but finally I talked him into it and he participated. Uncle Fudd tooks us on a hayride to the pumpkin patch, but before he let us off, we had to find 5 things that people had lost along the way...a tractor, a purple pumpkin, a bunny on a tricycle, a barbie doll that has only one arm, and a softball bat. The kids found all but the purple pumpkin...they said they saw a blue one though and we all agreed that it was blue and not purple. Uncle Fudd's wife said that it used to be purple but the sun has faded it and that she's been trying to get him to say blue but he keeps saying purple. We all laughed about it!! Obviously, the kids are doing quite well in school b/c they ALL know their colors!!! :-) Next it was time for the kids to pet and feed the animals. Carter really enjoyed this part and couldn't wait. He LOVED holding the baby duck and he was a good little baby duck holder too!!! After this, they got to play in the playground area, ride on a train that was used in the Memphis Zoo back in 1950, and bounce. Last thing we did there was all have lunch together and off to shopping we went to find Carter some fall/winter clothes. Check out some pictures from the trip!!

The next day was just as full as Friday. We had lunch with Mawmaw, Uncle Jerrel, Rachel, and Conner. Since we all had full bellies, we then headed to the pumpkin patch. We picked out some great pumpkins and let Carter just run and play. Carter wouldn't let us leave until we rode the hayride. On the hayride, Carter made a friend and the wierd part is that they both had on the exact same shirt...how cool is that!!! We got some great fall shots....

In one of the pictures(5th one)...can you find Carter?? He kinda blends in doesn't he???

The day wasn't over yet though...on our way home, we stopped off at the Rosemark School carnival. All I got to say is OH MY....it was very crowded and HOT in there. Carter played a few games and won some small prizes. However, he had the most fun on the blow up obstacle course. He even was able to climb up in order to slide down all by himself....he's such a big boy!!! I'd say he did this over and over again...until we ran out of tickets that is! Look at this boy go...

Sunday was round-up/high attendance day at Church. Carter got to enjoy petting animals, riding a pony, jumping, and he even got to ride the mechanical bull again this year!!!

Now, it's going to take a few days to recoop from this weekend!! Hopefully next weekend want be so full...we'll see!!
