Say a Prayer

I've applied to several things, so now I'm just waiting for someone to give me a call!!! =)

HOWEVER, there is this one job I applied for this past week, please pray that I hear something from it...I think all around it is what I want...it would be close to home, a good company to work for, good benefits, and I think I'd really like the position. I REALLY WANT THIS JOB!!!! It's an HR position. I've got some benefit background. And the more I think about this a couple of people, like my sister and my old boss, came to me to help them understand their benefits, so what I'm saying is I think this is where I'm to be!! So please say a prayer for me! Out of all the other jobs I've applied for, this job I can not stop praying and thinking about!!

I went to a job fair this week. Overall, I'd say it was a bust and I was a little disappointed in it. Out of the 11 vendors there, 5 were sales related and 2 were recruiting students. But man when I first walked in I thought this thing is going to be great because the line was back at the elevators and wrapped around into the lobby...basically, I stood in line for 30 minutes. But I would've wondered had I not gone...so now I know.

Also, I've gotten a few calls from my head hunter asking could he send my resume to two companies and I said yes, so maybe I'll soon get a phone call for an interview from somebody.

Other than that, I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking!!! I've got another Cropical Paradise trip coming up in two weeks...I can't wait!!

On Wednesday, Carter went to the dentist to have his teeth cleaned. This was his second time and he did fine. He did try to get up after she got done scrapping and said that's all, but we convinced him that now she needed to brush them and he finally got back up there and finished the appointment out well...even the doctor told him that he redeemed himself and got to pick out two prizes this time. So here he is trying to figure which two to get...

And I want you to know that he picked out a ball yoyo and a ring. YES, A RING...but guess who it was for...ME!!!! He is so SWEET!!!! He even picked a small flower from the dentist landscape and gave to me too!!! I'm just amazed at how young he is and knows to do something like that!!!!!!! I love my boy so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday was a cool day for Carter at school b/c it was PJ day...he got to wear his PJ's to school and they made pizza for lunch! He had such a good day!

Doesn't he just look so comfy (all except the Tennis shoes, but oh well, I guess we need to get him some house shoes).
