We've got BABIES!!!

Two BABY GOATS that is!!!

My dad has a total of 4 goats (3 female and 1 male). If you ask Carter, he'll say they are all his! :-) This one male got all 3 of them pregnant (we think) and Brownie was the first to have her babies. They are so cute!!!

They were born today at around 11am. They are both girls. We went over there around 3 to see them. Carter wasn't the least bit afraid and actually couldn't keep his hands off them!!!

We didn't think he'd be afraid b/c he'll play with the big ones too...they lead him around. My dad will even let him ride them...HE LOVES THOSE GOATS AND HE LOVES TO HELP PAPAW FEED THEM!!!! If my parents ever went out of town, I can guarantee you that he could tell us exactly what to do with them and whose bucket is who.

We don't have names picked out yet, so we'll take suggestions. The brown one is the runt of the two, but totally looks like his mom.

My dad has always enjoyed going to Goat Days in our town....actually, my dad has always had an animal of some sort, but I think this event got him the goat fever, so he just had to have one. Then he started drinking the goat milk and would buy it from this lady and that's when he decided it was time to breed his, so that he can have goat's milk whenever he wants. If chilled, you honestly can not tell the difference...yes, I have tried it and actually thought it was pretty good.

We think Lacey could possible have hers this weekend. She doesn't look as big as Brownie, so we think she will probably only have one. I'll keep you posted.
